Special cash rates have been developed for some surgical services
performed at the Jules Stein Eye Institute. Uninsured patients and
those who choose to receive their care at UCLA even though they
are insured elsewhere can avail themselves of these special cash
rates.
Cash rates must be paid before surgery. Otherwise, services will
be billed according to the length of time in the operating room,
supplies consumed and personnel involved, and the charges will generally
be much higher. Listed below are the cash packages used most frequently
by our office.
