Seeking Postdoctoral Scholar

A Postdoctoral Scholar position is available at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute and Department of Ophthalmology to study the molecular regulation of human corneal stem cells with an emphasis on translational application.  Experimental approaches employed in our laboratory include molecular biology and cell engineering.  We are seeking an independent and motivated individual with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Qualified candidates should have a PhD and/or MD with a strong background in cell biology and molecular biology, and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting with basic scientists and clinicians to investigate the optimal conditions to regenerate corneal stem cells for transplant purpose.
