The Jules Stein Eye Institute's Clinical Research Center provides
core support to faculty members who are conducting patient-based
research studies. This support involves vital, behind-the-scenes
activities that facilitate the clinical research process. Center
staff liaison with granting agencies and government regulatory bodies,
assist with the preparation of grant applications, participate in
the design and management of clinical studies, and perform data
collection and analysis functions. Not a site for patient care but
an administrative infrastructure, the Clinical Research Center allows
Institute faculty to concentrate on their science rather than the
business details of clinical research.
